  • Jon Moxley’s AEW World Championship Challenger Determined in Casino Gauntlet Match
    The winner of tonight’s Casino Gauntlet Match will face Jon Moxley for the AEW World Championship next week during the Dynamite Maximum Carnage special. Moxley defended his title at Worlds End on December 28 against Orange Cassidy, “Hangman” Adam Page, and Jay White.
  • Toni Storm vs. Willow Nightingale vs. Kris Statlander
    The winner of this match will secure the #1 spot in the Women’s Casino Gauntlet Match at Maximum Carnage. Storm, Nightingale, and Statlander went back and forth in a high-paced bout, with Storm taking the victory after hitting Saturday Night Fever on Storm for the win.
  • Will Ospreay vs. Buddy Matthews
    After his loss to Kazuchika Okada in the Continental Classic finals, Will Ospreay looked to redeem himself against House of Black’s Buddy Matthews. Ospreay emerged victorious after a back-and-forth match, finishing Matthews off with the Hidden Blade.
  • Bobby Lashley vs. Mark Briscoe
    Lashley of The Hurt Syndicate continued his winning ways after defeating Mark Briscoe of The Conglomeration. Lashley secured the win by locking in The Hurt Lock after a brutal spear and chokeslam.
  • Casino Gauntlet Match
    The participants included big names such as Jay White, Adam Page, Wheeler Yuta, Ricochet, Daniel Garcia, Powerhouse Hobbs, Roderick Strong, Lance Archer, Kyle O’Reilly, and more. Hobbs ultimately won the match, securing his spot as a contender for Moxley’s AEW World Championship. Afterward, MJF confronted Jeff Jarrett, teasing a potential alliance that was quickly shut down by Jarrett, who is determined to make his own way back to the top.
  • Kenny Omega’s Emotional Return
    Omega, fresh off his Wrestle Dynasty victory, gave an emotional speech about his year-long battle with diverticulitis and his journey to recovery. He expressed his passion for wrestling and his newfound sense of purpose. Don Callis attempted to interrupt, but Omega took the fight to him, setting off a brawl that saw Lance Archer and Brian Cage attacking Omega. Will Ospreay then made the save, attacking Archer with a chair and confronting Omega, setting up a stare-down between the two to end the show.
