Update On The Streaming Status Of WWE NXT Following Move To The CW

With the September 24 episode now concluded, WWE’s “NXT” has officially wrapped up its five-year run on the USA Network. Starting October 1, “NXT” will debut on The CW, with a special live broadcast from the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois. This move marks a significant shift, particularly in how fans will stream the show.

As reported by Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, all archived “NXT” episodes will no longer be available on Peacock, transitioning instead to The CW’s streaming app starting in October. However, while weekly “NXT” episodes will leave Peacock, the brand’s Premium Live Events will continue to stream there until February 2026, due to a separate agreement. This deal also explains why “NXT” and “WWE SmackDown” won’t follow “WWE Raw” to Netflix in 2025.

The October 1 episode on The CW is already set to deliver major matches. Roxanne Perez will defend her NXT Women’s Championship against Giulia, and Fatal Influence will face Jaida Parker and Lola Vice in tag team action. Additionally, Wes Lee will battle former partner Zachary Wentz in a Street Fight, and Ethan Page will defend the NXT Championship against Trick Williams, with CM Punk as special guest referee.
