Adam Cole vs Kyle O’Reilly Set For NXT Great American Bash

32

On tonight’s episode of NXT (15th June), the first match for NXT’s The Great American Bash episode was announced, as General Manager William Regal scheduled Adam Cole vs Kyle O’Reilly in a singles match.

The match was announced in a backstage segment, as the two former members of the Undisputed Era brawled with one another. However, as things began to get more heated between the two, and with security unable to stop them, it was up to the returning Samoa Joe to put Adam Cole to sleep and end the conflict.

It was also announced that both Cole and O’Reilly would have to face off against opponents of their choice next week. With the latter choosing to face off against the NXT Cruiserweight Champion Kushida. Cole’s choice was yet to be decided at the time of writing, but you can keep up with NXT’s live results here.

Perhaps one criticism that could be raised of the upcoming match is if it remains a singles match, considering their previous encounter was an unsanctioned match.

Are you excited about the upcoming match? And would you like an additional stipulation added? Let us know in the comments, or over on our Twitter and Facebook pages.
