AEW Dynamite Grand Slam Results 9/25 – Nigel McGuinness Looks To Face Bryan Danielson, Three Titles On The Line

Welcome to Wrestling Inc.’s coverage of AEW Dynamite Grand Slam on September 25, 2024, broadcasting live from Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens, New York City!

AEW World Champion Bryan Danielson has been out of action since AEW All Out earlier this month, following an attack by Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, PAC, and Marina Shafir after his successful title defense against Jack Perry of The Elite. Tonight, if cleared by medical officials, Danielson will return to the ring for the first time since then, facing his longtime rival Nigel McGuinness in a non-title match.

Meanwhile, Jon Moxley is set to compete against his archrival Darby Allin. Should Moxley secure a victory, he will take Allin’s AEW World Championship shot at AEW WrestleDream next month, a shot Allin earned by winning the Royal Rampage match on the July 26 edition of AEW Rampage.

In tag team action, Matthew Jackson and Nicholas Jackson will defend the AEW World Tag Team Championship for the first time since their victory over Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta on September 7. Tonight, they face AEW International Champion Will Ospreay and Kyle Fletcher, who earned their spot by winning a Tag Team Gauntlet Match on Dynamite two weeks ago.
