In tonight’s headline matchup, Private Party—Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen—team up with Katsuyori Shibata to face off against The Elite: Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson, and Jack Perry. This marks the first time Shibata has joined forces with Private Party. The match stems from the escalating tensions after Shibata challenged Perry for the TNT Championship at AEW WrestleDream this past Wednesday, and the Young Bucks turned down a challenge from Private Party for an AEW World Tag Team Title match. The tensions boiled over into a backstage brawl, prompting interim AEW EVP Christopher Daniels to sanction tonight’s six-man tag match.
Also in action, Queen Aminata looks to build momentum after saving Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D., from an attack by Serena Deeb last week. She will face Harley Cameron in their first-ever encounter in an AEW ring. Both competitors are eager to establish dominance and rise up the women’s division.
In tag team action, Orange Cassidy and Kyle O’Reilly of The Conglomeration will pair up to take on Bryan Keith and Big Bill.
