AEW are reportedly having mixed ticket sales for their upcoming events. According to a recent report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, AEW are performing exceptionally well in the New York/New Jersey Market. However, they seem to be struggling to sell tickets for their upcoming return to Daily’s Place.
According to the report, AEW had sold 10,467 tickets for their September 15th Dynamite show in the Prudential Centre in Newark, NJ. This was before the pandemic however, and now the date has been rescheduled there are just 1,400 tickets available for when they go back on sale. The following week, their September 22nd show at the Arthur Ashe Stadium is reportedly outselling WWE’s Maddison Square Garden show. The report stated that the show had around 8,000 tickets out. However, that was before the show officially went on sale and that number is reportedly far higher now, with Voices of Wrestling stating the number is edging closer to 15,000 now.
Perception wise, this is embarrassing. If you think Vince McMahon is sitting at his desk under his dinosaur skull spinning “well, with vaccine restrictions and high ticket prices we’re doing pretty well!”, you’re nuts.

However, AEW’s sales are not all reportedly going perfectly. Their August 4th return to Daily’s Place show is currently at under 800 tickets sold at the of the report, way off maximum capacity.
