Details have emerged regarding the contract status of AEW stars Lee Moriarty and Daniel Garcia.
According to an article at Fightful Select, Moriarty was offered the option to do his AEW contract signing as a segment with Tony Khan in front of a live crowd at a show, despite his “Lee Moriarty is #AllElite” graphic not being released until last week.
Apparently there was no real reason why they decided to wait until six weeks after his actual signing to release the graphic, as he was already a full-time contracted talent for the company for a while at that point.
Additionally, the report states that MLW sources indicated that AEW was very easy to do business with in terms of allowing Moriarty to finish up his scheduled dates with the company before making the move to the new company.
Although it has yet to be officially announced in similar “is #AllElite” fashion, Daniel Garcia has been under a full-time contract with AEW for some time now as well.
