Bully Ray Points Out ‘Missed Opportunity’ In This AEW All Out Match

WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray, known for his emphasis on wrestling storytelling, expressed disappointment after AEW All Out, highlighting a “missed opportunity.”

On the latest episode of “Busted Open Radio,” Bully Ray criticized AEW for not fully capitalizing on the feud between MJF and Daniel Garcia. “I believe Daniel Garcia was as over as MJF intended him to be,” Ray remarked. He felt that the match did not deliver a proper resolution to their rivalry. “Daniel Garcia couldn’t overcome MJF, despite having his moment of vindication at the end.”

Ray argued that there are no other heels in AEW who fans would be interested in seeing Garcia defeat, making the lack of a decisive payoff in their feud even more notable. “The conclusion of this match should have provided a resolution. ‘You did something to me; now I’ll get my revenge,'” Ray said. Dave LaGreca also pointed out that MJF did not bleed when Garcia kissed him on the forehead after the loss, suggesting a missed opportunity.

The finish of the match was reportedly altered due to uncertainties surrounding Garcia’s contract status with AEW, although it’s anticipated that he will remain with the promotion.
