In a thrilling rematch for the WWE Women‘s U.S. Championship on WWE SmackDown, Chelsea Green successfully defended her title against Michin, continuing their ongoing rivalry. The two women had been at odds for months, and their feud intensified after Green defeated Michin to become the inaugural Women’s U.S. Champion on Saturday Night’s Main Event.
Michin came out strong, attempting to end the match early by going for her signature move, Eat Defeat. The action was fast-paced, with both women battling inside and outside the ring. However, things took a turn when Piper Niven, who has been a consistent presence in this rivalry, tried to get involved in the match. Niven’s interference backfired when Michin delivered a kick and then executed a front-flip senton off the apron to take out Niven.
Despite the setback, Green regained control when Michin hit a crossbody, only for the champion to roll through and secure a pinfall victory while grabbing Michin’s tights for leverage. Following Green’s win, Niven took revenge on Michin, delivering a brutal running senton.
With the win, Chelsea Green now holds a 2-1 record over Michin in singles competition, further cementing her dominance as the Women’s U.S. Champion.
