Chelsea Green Reflects on Bond With Michin Amid Rivalry
Though Chelsea Green and Michin have clashed repeatedly in the ring over the past year, their real-life connection runs deep. During a recent appearance on “The Wrestling Classic,” Green opened up about the lasting friendship she shares with her fellow WWE SmackDown star—one that traces back to Green’s early days in the wrestling business.
Green recalled her first-ever televised match, which took place at TNA’s Knockouts Knockdown pay-per-view. Unfamiliar with the basics of televised wrestling at the time, she leaned on Michin—then known as Mia Yim or Jade—for guidance.
“She held my hand through that experience,” Green said. “From then on, we’ve just had really good chemistry. And you don’t always have that with people. But her and I just have this weird, unspoken telepathy in the ring.”
Despite their on-screen animosity—highlighted by Michin’s victory over Green in a high-stakes dumpster match—Green acknowledged their ability to effortlessly sync in matches. “It’s really weird,” she noted. “We always have it.”
Their bond serves as a reminder that even the fiercest rivals in the squared circle can share mutual respect and camaraderie behind the scenes.
