At AEW Revolution on Sunday night, Christian Cage was revealed to be the huge debut, as he officially signed a long-term contract with the company.

On Wednesday night’s AEW Dynamite broadcast, Kenny Omega, The Good Brothers and Don Callis came out to cut a promo, addressing the botched explosion, Eddie Kingston and Jon Moxley made a mockery of them and the dud explosion that had occurred. Kingston then came out and got in Omega’s face. Omega gave Kingston a free shot and Kingston took it. A brawl ensued, as The Good Brothers jumped Kingston.

Moxley would run down to make the save, then Christian Cage’s music hit. As Christian hit the ring, he had a stare down with Omega that led into a “Killswitch” attempt by Cage before Omega was pulled out of the ring by Callis. Cage was left in the ring alone, as he picked up the AEW World Championship and held it high in the air, teasing a potential feud with Omega.
