CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre 3 Announced for WWE Bad Blood with Legendary Stipulation
The intense feud between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre, marked by its brutality on “WWE Raw,” will culminate at WWE Bad Blood in a Hell in a Cell match—a fittingly violent conclusion.
On Monday, McIntyre addressed his future plans, initially expressing a desire to move past Punk and pursue the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. However, Adam Pearce intervened, insisting McIntyre face consequences for his September 2 attack on Punk, which resulted in Punk being taken away by ambulance. Pearce announced that Punk and McIntyre will resolve their issues in a Hell in a Cell match at Bad Blood on October 5.
This Hell in a Cell match will be the decisive third encounter in Punk and McIntyre’s historically brutal rivalry. This announcement follows Punk’s earlier comments at Clash in the Castle, where he expressed a lack of interest in gimmick matches, including Hell in a Cell. Punk has not yet addressed his previous remarks on this stipulation.
