DDP Names His Choice For The Greatest Finishing Move Of All Time

Former three-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion, and 2017 WWE Hall of Fame inductee, Diamond Dallas Page (DDP) has talked about what his choice is for the greatest finishing move of all time.

When asked the question on the It’s My House Podcast, DDP couldn’t narrow it down to one choice. Instead, he opted for his own finisher as well as one other move, saying this:

“The two greatest finishes ever are the DDT and Diamond Cutter. Randy kept that going with the RKO, there isn’t a better finish than that. Everybody imitates it. Johnny Ace gave me just a run of the mill grab them by the neck and fall down. I came up with all the ways to hit it. And then Johnny went and took all those.

The cutter was first created in the 1980s by Johnny Ace. DDP began to use the move in WCW, as he put his own twist on the move. The move would rise in popularity and would serve as a large part of the inspiration for Randy Orton’s RKO.
