Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the early PPV numbers for Sunday’s AEW Revolution are looking to be the strongest in company history.
The numbers are also looking the strongest for a non-WWE show in the US since 1999 as it earned over $6 million, a number that will likely end up closer to $7 million. The promotion will take about 50% of that due to a split with distribution partners.
The B/R Live streaming numbers were up over 50% from November’s Full Gear and are the highest in AEW history. It seems as though the final number will be above the record 120,000 buys for Double or Nothing 2020.
