The Fort Dodge wrestling team will open the 2021-22 ranked 10th in Class 3A according to

The Dodgers have five rated individuals, powered by No. 1 sophomore Dru Ayala at 106 pounds. Junior Max Bishop (4th at 113), sophomore Damarion Ross (9th at 138), junior Tucker Pederson (8th at 170) and senior Ben Egli (4th at 182) are the other ranked FDSH grapplers.

Webster City debuts at No. 9 in Class 2A, led by top-rated Cam Phetxoumphone at 120 pounds. Carson Doolittle is third at 113 for the Lynx, while CJ Hisler opens 10th at 182.

Southeast Valley’s Aaron Graves, a University of Iowa football recruit, is the top-ranked 285 pounder in 2A.

Algona’s Jake Zabka is 6th at 113. Caelan Oakes of Southeast Valley is 8th.

Greene County’s McKinley Robbins debuts at No. 1 atop the 126-pound standings. Humboldt’s Jayden Gargano is 9th at the same weight.

Pocahontas Area’s Tyce Ruffridge is 11th at 132. Jase Goodell of Humboldt is 12th at 138.

Clarion-Goldfield/Dows’ Garrett Seaba will start 5th at 160 pounds, while Cowboy heavyweight Daniel Chavez is 12th.

Gavin Scheuermann of Greene County is 12th at 145. Teammate Nathan Black is 12th at 160.

In 1A, South Central Calhoun cracked the Top-10. The Titans are 9th, with Jayden Soard (2nd at 220) and Blake McAlister (4th at 170) leading the way.

Eagle Grove’s Kaden Pritchard is 5th at 113 pounds. Justin Rohlfing of SCC is 8th.

MNW’s Brodie Anderson ranks 4th at 195.

Kevin King of SCC is 8th at 145. Manson Northwest Webster’s Ian Kohnen is 10th at 160.

Cade Shirk of Emmetsburg starts 12th at 160.
