Former WWE star Alicia Fox reflects on her personal growth following her departure from the company. Starting her WWE journey in OVW in 2006 and ending in 2023, Fox has embraced a period of self-discovery since leaving the promotion. During an appearance on “Busted Open Radio,” she discussed how stepping away has allowed her to reconnect with her true self.
Fox has leveraged social media to reintroduce herself to her fanbase and continue her career on the independent circuit under the name “Vix Crow,” a nod to her real name, Victoria Crawford. “Reconnecting with Victoria publicly, alongside her ring persona from Total Divas, required a new partner and a fresh message,” Fox explained. She highlighted how this transition has enabled her to develop new talking points that reflect her current self, although she did take a brief hiatus from social media.
She noted that this new phase in her career has been a dynamic and emotionally enriching experience. “It felt independent, it felt great, it felt dynamic,” Fox stated. Her revised schedule has also given her the opportunity to explore interests outside of wrestling and engage with different communities. “Professional wrestling is a dynamic experience, but it’s also a business, and that’s part of what I love about it,” she added.
