Kenny Omega Says NJPW Has Been “Ice Cold” Since He Left

As reported earlier today here on eWn, Kenny Omega ranked number one on PWI’s 500 list.

One man who reacted negatively to Omega topping the list was #7 ranked Will Ospreay. He said,

“I’d beat up number 1 any day of the week and twice on Wednesdays…..just saying”

Upon seeing this tweet, Kenny Omega would respond to Ospreay, where he remarked that not only was NJPW now “ice cold”, but also that his biggest competition was a “bigger dog”, who it would be presumed is Roman Reigns. Omega’s full tweet reads:

“Your promotion has been so ice cold since I left that not even Meltzer can convince his followers that you were part of any BITW conversation. It hurts me, bruv. One of you dorks should have been the guy. Turned out a bigger dog was my only competition.”

Kenny Omega left NJPW in January of 2019. He and The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson), as well as Cody Rhodes would depart the company to form AEW.
