Earlier this week, Sports Illustrated reported that WWE does not have plans to tour throughout the first half of this year. As it stands right now, there’s no word yet on if WWE plans to do so during the second half of this year.
WWE confirmed earlier this week they’ll be moving the ThunderDome residency next month to the Yuengling Center in Tampa. They’ll stay there while gauging the possibility of returning to a weekly live event model or not.
In an update, The Yuengling Center’s official website now lists the ThunderDome’s occupancy, which notes the residency will last until August 3rd and won’t have fans.
Wow. Working to confirm this. This would sound about right though, as no #USF teams would need the arena during that.
