Major League Wrestling (MLW) continues to expand its roster with the addition of Matthew Justice, a former MLW Tag Team Champion.
According to a report from Fightful Select, MLW CEO Court Bauer initiated contract negotiations with Justice several weeks ago. The discussions concluded swiftly, resulting in Justice signing a contract with MLW. He is expected to receive a significant push within the promotion, although specific details have not been disclosed.
Justice’s most recent match in MLW took place at the Summer Of The Beasts event on August 29, where he faced former WWE star Matt Riddle. Justice made his mark in MLW with a hardcore debut, winning a Dumpster Match against Mance Warner, Microman, and Real1 (Enzo Amore) in April 2023. Later that year, Justice and 1 Called Manders, part of the Second Gear Crew, captured the MLW Tag Team Championships by defeating The Calling (AKIRA & Rickey Shane Page) at the 2023 Fightland event. Their title reign lasted over three months before they dropped the belts to Davey Boy Smith Jr. and Tom Lawlor in February.
Before joining MLW, Justice was a prominent figure in Game Changer Wrestling (GCW), where he held the GCW Tag Team Championships with Mance Warner as part of the Second Gear Crew. Justice also had a stint with WWE under a developmental contract in 2011.
