During a recent interview on The Angle Podcast, Mickie James talked about if WWE was still the goal for talents in wrestling.
When asked if she believes negative reviews from talent on their time in WWE would stop other wrestlers aiming to wrestle in the company, James had this to say:
“No, I think at the end of the day, I’m sure it effects people on different levels, but at the end of the day it’s all business and if you are a professional athlete you are going to shoot for the pinnacle as to what you deem is the pinnacle and right now and it always has been, they (WWE) have been the market leader. Even myself, I was coming up the ranks and working TNA, ROH, my dream was still to be WWE Women’s Champion. Like that was the goal and I think everyone is trying for that position and wants to get there.”
