As we reported yesterday here on eWn, tickets for AEW Dynamite Grand Slam in New York City went on sale to the general public yesterday and sold extremely well. The event will be held at Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens on September 22nd.
According to Dave Meltzer, over 15,000 tickets have been sold so far and we still have several months to go. As of this writing, the venue is set up for 17,000 fans but they could increase that to around 19,000 if needed. If the show sells out, it would be the largest non-WWE wrestling crowd in the United States since 1999.
