Netflix Prepares for WWE’s Arrival with Five New Content Categories

WWE’s highly anticipated debut on Netflix is just two weeks away, and both WWE and Netflix are pulling out all the stops to make the transition memorable. While WWE has bolstered its lineup with stars like Roman Reigns, Rhea Ripley, and Seth Rollins in must-watch matches, Netflix is preparing its platform with the introduction of five new WWE-focused programs.

Among the new additions is WWE Raw Classics, a retrospective series celebrating the most iconic moments from WWE’s red brand. Hosted by Big E, the show will feature appearances from WWE Legends and Superstars, including CM Punk, WWE CCO Paul “Triple H” Levesque, and notably, Becky Lynch, who is currently unsigned. Lynch’s involvement has sparked speculation about a potential long-term deal with WWE.

Other programs include WWE Top 10, which similarly revisits the best matches in WWE Raw history. Notable names like John Cena, Triple H, and Becky Lynch are mentioned as featured participants, though they are expected to appear as part of the matches rather than as hosts.

WWE Road to WrestleMania promises to highlight the red brand’s journey to “The Grandest Stage of Them All,” showcasing essential matches and moments leading up to WrestleMania.

Two additional series, WWE Superstar Profiles and WWE Legends Profiles, will provide more character-focused content. Superstar Profiles will spotlight current wrestlers in their pursuit of championships and glory, while Legends Profiles will honor the careers of WWE’s most iconic figures, featuring their unforgettable matches and defining moments.

This exciting slate of WWE programming will debut on Netflix starting January 1, giving fans plenty to look forward to as WWE makes its streaming platform debut.
