Bray Wyatt was released from his WWE contract due to budget cuts. Dave Meltzer previously reported that Wyatt is headed to AEW once his non-compete clause expires. Bryan Alvarez said that he heard from people in AEW who said that they were unaware that Wyatt could be headed there.
Impact Wrestling is also interested in Wyatt.
Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that there has been talk that Wyatt could debut on the September 29 episode of AEW Dynamite.
This episode is set to be held in Rochester, New York, the hometown of the late great Brodie Lee. Of course, Wyatt and Lee were good friends.
If Wyatt heads to Impact then he will likely make his promotional debut at Bound For Glory.
