According to a report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Jack Evans has some backstage heat on him after his match with 10 on this week’s AEW Dark broadcast. For those unaware, 10 defeated Evans in a one-on-one match. At one point during the bout, Evans hit 10 in the face with an elbow while he was doing a Phoenix Splash. The spot resulted in 10 being busted open and they went directly to the finish.
Due to this, Evans reportedly had “heat from the people you don’t want heat with” in AEW. Also, a post-match segment saw Brodie Lee Jr. jump into the ring and fist-bump 10, who was a bloody mess at that point. AEW decided to edit that part of the segment out.
For what it’s worth, Evans was not in Angelico’s corner on this week’s AEW Dynamite broadcast.
