According to a report from the Wrestling Observer, Bryan Danielson (Daniel Bryan in WWE) and Windham Rotunda (Bray Wyatt in WWE) will both be coming to AEW in the near future. As many of you know, Danielson is rumored to be making his AEW debut at the Arthur Ashe Stadium show in New York City, which takes place on September 22.
According to the report, Wyatt will be joining AEW as soon as his 90-day non compete clause expires. Wyatt was released from WWE on July 31, which means he’ll be free to work for any other promotion on October 29. That date is a Friday night, the same night that AEW Rampage airs. As of this writing, there is no word on if that will be a live taping for Rampage. The date of October 29 is also one week before Full Gear in St. Louis, MO.
Wyatt’s AEW debut isn’t 100% set in stone just yet because an official contract hasn’t been signed. The talks are said to be in the same stage as Malakai Black when he was rumored to be coming to AEW.
