ROH Women’s Division Wednesday Preview (6/9/2021)

Ladies and gentlemen, we are on the road to ROH Best in the World 2021, and it is the season of survival. It is time to preview the 7th edition of ROH’s Women’s Division Wednesday, airing taped on ROH’s YouTube channel. This event will emanate from the UMBC Event Center on June 9, 2021. Let’s get into this one.

ROH Women’s Division Wednesday:
Miranda Alize & Sumie Sakai vs. Trish Adora & Mazzerati

ROH Women’s Division Wednesday has given so many women an incredible spotlight to shine – and this match doubles that spotlight. This week on ROH Women’s Division Wednesday, the ROH faithful will witness a tag team contest – Miranda Alize and Sumie Sakai vs. Trish Adora and Mazzerati. With these performers being relatively unknown, it’s time for the competitor rundown.

First, we have Miranda Alize. Alize is a 5’1″ wrestler with 6 years of experience. Her experience in jiu-jitsu gives an incredible edge to her in-ring work. In 2021, Alize has wrestled on AEW Dark in losses against Nyla Rose and Leyla Hirsch. Her only ROH Women’s Division Wednesday appearance took place on ROH Women’s Division Wednesday #3 in a match against her opponent, Trish Adora.

Next, we have her tag team partner, Sumie Sakai. Sakai is a 5’0″ wrestling veteran with 24 years of experience. She has experience in judo, which gives her wrestling style a special edge. Sakai has held championship gold in ROH, becoming the inaugural ROH Women of Honor World Champion when she defeated Kelly Klein at ROH Supercard of Honor XII. She would hold the belt for 154 days before dropping it to Kelly Klein at ROH Final Battle 2018.

On our opposing team, we have the former rugby player, Trish Adora. Adora is a 5’8″ in-ring competitor with 4 years of wrestling experience. In 2021, Adora has wrestled for a multitude of companies. Her most recent match ended in a loss to Miranda Alize at ROH Women’s Division Wednesday #3.

All four of these women have something to prove on this edition of ROH Women’s Division Wednesday. Maria Kanellis-Bennett is still handing out golden tickets for the upcoming ROH Women’s World Championship tournament – and all four of these women are looking to be involved. Stay tuned to eWrestling News for the result of this event!
