“This one was emotional because I climbed the mountain that nobody thought I could climb,” D’Angelo shared, reflecting on his journey. He credited the unwavering support of his “family” — including Channing Lorenzo, Luca Crusifino, and Adriana Rizzo — for helping him navigate through mental and professional challenges. “Emotionally, it meant a little bit more, but having the family with me… they supported me through the tough time of mentally not knowing what to do,” he said.

Tony D’Angelo has etched his name into NXT history as the first superstar to hold the NXT Tag Team Championship, Heritage Cup, and NXT North American Championship. When asked about his potential pursuit of the NXT Championship, currently held by Trick Williams, he expressed a measured approach:
“Of course, everybody thinks about that, but you know what, I think Trick’s a nice guy… I don’t wanna take it from him right away; I’ll let him hang on to it for a little bit, and then we’ll re-evaluate.”
