During the Crown Jewel Kickoff Show, WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque revealed that the two new championship belts will remain in Saudi Arabia, specifically at the WWE Experience attraction, rather than returning to the United States with their respective champions.
“These titles will stay here in Saudi Arabia, right here inside the WWE Experience, so all of you will be able to come here and see these actual titles on display,” Triple H announced. He also added that the Crown Jewel Champions, whoever they may be, will walk away with a massive ring reminiscent of a Super Bowl ring, symbolizing their status as the one true champion in WWE. This annual event will allow champions to collect rings over the years, adding a unique legacy to their victories.
This isn’t the first time that a ceremonial WWE title has been exclusive to Saudi Arabia. In 2018, Braun Strowman earned a commemorative title belt and trophy after winning the Greatest Royal Rumble, defeating 49 other competitors. The Crown Jewel event in 2018 also saw Shane McMahon win the WWE World Cup, declaring himself the “Best in the World.” Additionally, Crown Jewel 2019 featured Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows lifting the World Tag Team Cup, while the 2020 Super ShowDown showcased The Undertaker defeating AJ Styles in a gauntlet for the Tuwaiq Trophy.
