Dave Meltzer reported in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that NXT talent has been told that they will start running house shows in Florida starting in July.
During a conference call with the media today, Triple H emphasized that everyone in WWE wants to get back to having more fans in attendance. WWE only allows a limited number of people to attend the weekly NXT shows.
“So, it’s a little bit of an eb and flow, right now of where things stand but I can tell you this, for WWE, for our staff, our crew, for all of us behind the scenes but especially for our talent, we cannot wait to get back in front of crowds and full arenas and excited fans,” Triple H explained. “It’s the lifeblood of what we do and never having thought we’d experience it, but having no fans it makes you realize that they’re everything that we do and we can’t wait to get back in front of them and show them what WWE really does again. It’ll be an evolving process as we get into the summer months and into the fall.”
