WWE producer Tyson Kidd has commented on whether he sees his former tag-team partner DH Smith returning to the company, almost a decade after his release.
Speaking to That 90’s Wrestling Podcast, Kidd who held the Unified WWE Tag-Team Championships with Smith had this to say:
“I don’t know anything official, I’ve said it in interviews before he’s been gone for a decade, I’ve been trying to get him to come back this entire time like this isn’t some new thing of mine trying to get him to come back, I’ve been trying to get him to come back this whole time. I think Harry’s (DH Smith) changed a lot in the last ten years, and I think WWE has changed a lot in the last ten years, but hopefully, they’ll be happily surprised at how much the other has changed. But, I hope it goes down.”
DH Smith most recently appeared within WWE over WrestleMania weekend to induct his father the British Bulldog into the WWE Hall of Fame. However, in the time since his August 5th 2011 release and that appearance he has wrestled for various companies including NJPW and MLW. Meanwhile, his former partner Tyson Kidd has received praise of late for his contributions as a backstage producer since his forced retirement.
