Here are some updates on ticket sales for WWE’s upcoming live events, including SummerSlam on August 21 in Las Vegas, NV.
According to a report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there are currently 41,460 tickets out for SummerSlam. Scalping has become an issue, as there are just under 6,000 tickets on the secondary market. As the event draws closer, the current get-in price has dropped to just $29.
Tonight’s WWE SmackDown TV tapings in Tulsa, OK has sold 6,404 tickets. Saturday night’s live event in Charlotte, NC has sold 6,287 tickets. Sunday’s live event in Columbia, SC has sold 4,961 tickets. Monday’s RAW in San Antonio, TX has sold 6,516 tickets.
The September 10 SmackDown TV tapings at Madison Square Garden has 9,301 tickets out, with 6,800 of those paid. WWE Extreme Rules in Columbus, OH has 5,929 tickets out, with 4,500 of those paid.
