What Happened After AEW Dynamite?, CM Punk Returns For Another Promo (Videos)

Satoshi Kojima took to Twitter last night, reacting to his upcoming match with Jon Moxley at AEW All Out on September 5. He said,

“I’m not famous to wrestling fans around the world. I understand that. But Moxley said my name. That’s enough. I want to get a great experience.”

Following last night’s AEW Dynamite and Rampage TV tapings, CM Punk came back out and cut another promo for the live fans in Milwaukee, WI. He thanked them for sticking around, saying,

“I just had to come back out here and say it’s just so cool being here. It’s cool that you all came here and you stayed. I know it’s late, I know sometimes these shows can be long, but you sit in your seats, and you’re enthusiastic, and you give everybody here everything you’ve got. Because everybody here, at least from what I’ve seen so far, gives you everything that they have. I just want to say I’m super grateful. And I know eventually, the luster will kinda wear off from the shiny CM Punk. You’re just gonna have a good time listening to Cult of Personality, it’s gonna wear off, but just know that until it does wear off, I’m gonna keep doing this and soak it in as much as possible.”

Christian Cage, who was still in the ring, added,

“I did the humble CM Punk, but it’s a big f*cking deal that you’re here, man. Who would have thought that in 2021, Christian Cage and CM Punk would be standing in this ring together? Listen, this business, it doesn’t owe anybody anything, right? But we give our hearts and souls, and listen, like you said before, sometimes you fall in and out of love with things but you never truly let it go. I for one am glad you got this passion back and I can’t wait to see what you do in your match.”

Kazarian also chimed in, saying,

“I just want to say, as a guy who has been in AEW since day one – Christian Cage, CM Punk, you are welcome additions to this company. On behalf of people in the back and the other AEW OGs, thank you both for being here, now let’s kick this motherf*cker into full gear.”

Punk then joked that AEW’s next pay-per-view event is All Out, not Full Gear. He poked fun at Kazarian for being in AEW since day one and not knowing this. Punk ended his promo by saying that there will be ice cream bars on sale at the NOW Arena next week, but he won’t be paying for them this time.
