With the rise of the Bloodline faction in WWE, the Anoa’i family has become even more central to the company’s storylines, with rumors circulating about additional family members potentially joining the ranks. Among them is Samson Fatu, the youngest son of WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi, who may one day follow in the footsteps of his legendary relatives.
During an episode of his podcast, “Rikishi Fatu Off The Top,” Rikishi opened up about Samson’s potential future in wrestling. The Hall of Famer revealed that his son has shown a bit of interest in the business, though he also suggested there might be other avenues for Samson to pursue.
“He sounds like he has a little bit of interest,” Rikishi said. “If, in case, the day comes, you know, where Sampson decides to [become a wrestler], I’m gonna have no worries.” Rikishi further emphasized that Samson, who has been around the wrestling world since the age of five, is already incredibly tall, standing at six foot five inches at just sixteen years old. He expects his son to grow even taller, potentially reaching six foot eight.
Despite his encouragement for his son, Rikishi expressed a preference for Samson to consider other career paths, such as acting, with a playful nod toward the possibility of him starring in a Marvel movie. “I’d rather him go possibly do acting, you know, do a Marvel movie or something like that, you know, less abuse on his body,” Rikishi quipped.
Rikishi also reflected on his pride for his family’s wrestling accomplishments, including the successes of his other children: The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) and Solo Sikoa, as well as Jacob Fatu. He spoke fondly of the moments he’s had watching his family in action, acknowledging how special it has been to witness the younger generation carry on the Anoa’i legacy.
“It was a beautiful thing as parents to be able to watch the kids out there,” Rikishi said, his pride evident. “What a blessing.”
Samson Fatu’s Potential WWE Future
While Rikishi is proud of his son’s potential, it’s clear that he values his family’s health and well-being, expressing a preference for a less physically demanding career than wrestling. However, should Samson decide to follow the family tradition and enter the squared circle, it’s clear that he has a strong lineage and support system to guide him.
With the ongoing success of the Bloodline faction and the continued rise of family members like The Usos and Solo Sikoa, it’s clear that the Anoa’i family’s influence in WWE is as strong as ever. Fans are eagerly watching to see if more of Rikishi’s children will eventually make their mark in the wrestling world, with Samson being one of the most talked-about prospects.
