WWE President Nick Khan has stated in the past that once WWE goes back to touring, it will be permanent. The belief is SummerSlam this August will be the next PPV event to have fans in attendance.
PWInsider.com reports “the company intends to start out with some test live events this summer, but they are very early in the planning stages and would be subject to where things stand nationally with the COVID-19 pandemic.”
WWE would like to start that process out in July or August but has not yet pulled the trigger. The company is looking at numerous “waves” of the pandemic internationally.
