WWE NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver – Night 2 Results: Adam Cole vs. Kyle O’Reilly

The following is from our play-by-play coverage of the WWE NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver – Night 2 event:

Adam Cole vs. Kyle O’Reilly – Unsanctioned Match 

This was a fight from the get go. Kyle hit an outside dive then went for a triangle choke, but Cole kicked his way out of it and sent him into the barricade. Cole beat down Kyle for a few minutes. Cole hit a neckbreaker on a chair for a near fall. Kyle fought back and put Cole in a chair at ringside so he could dive off the ring apron with a drop kick.

Cole got a chain and both used it as a weapon. Kyle hit Cole in the face with a series of knee shots with a chain around it. Cole locked in a figure four leg lock at one point, but they both got out of it. Cole used the chain for a clothesline spot. Cole with a german suplex then a running kick while Kyle while sitting on a chair. Kyle had him in a guillotine choke, but Cole sent him into the barricade. Kyle hit a suplex to Cole onto the announce table.

Cole got a toolbox and hit Kyle in the ear with pliers. They traded head kicks then Kyle had him in a triangle choke, but Cole hit him in the ribs with a tire iron. Cole with a low blow then a superkick for 2. Cole took out the referee then hit a Canadian destroyer off the middle rope. Kyle put him in a guillotine choke and Cole sent them flying through the stage, which broke. Cole hit a brain buster on the steel steps. Cole missed a running knee strike then Kyle put him in a heel hook so Cole punched him in the face with the chain.

Cole went for the Canadian destroyer, but Kyle caught him and hit a neck breaker then a big boot. O’Reilly hit a running knee strike to the back of the head of Cole for a near fall. O’Reilly put a chair on the throat of Cole then wrapped a chain around his knee and hit a knee drop off the middle rope for the win. 

Winner: Kyle O’Reilly
