WWE Star Damian Priest Opens Up About Working With R-Truth

In a surprising twist for The Judgment Day, known for their dark and brooding persona, R-Truth brought a touch of comedy by humorously claiming he was part of the faction for a short period. His antics not only entertained the WWE Universe but also lightened the backstage environment, as noted by WWE Star Damian Priest.

During his appearance on “Insight with Chris Van Vliet,” WWE Star Damian Priest discussed his experiences working with the veteran wrestler. Despite being rivals in storylines, Priest expressed his admiration for R-Truth’s natural comedic talent.

“I mean, it goes without saying, at some point we’re going to have to team. We’re going to have to [team] properly,” Priest said. “The guy is unbelievably talented. I can’t even call him just a performer; that’s who he is. Backstage or off-camera, he has me in tears with laughter. It’s incredible how funny he is. It’s just his natural way of being. He’s a funny guy and a really lovable person.”

Priest also highlighted how R-Truth’s genuine personality makes it difficult to maintain a serious demeanor around him.

“Everything you see on TV is real,” Priest said. “Hunter himself was laughing about it, saying I have the worst poker face when I’m around him. I was like, what am I supposed to do? He does it to everyone. It is what it is. I really enjoyed working with him.”

Priest, along with Rhea Ripley, recently defeated Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan at WWE’s Bash in Berlin.
