WWE’s The Undertaker Shares Insights on Potential Match Between GUNTHER and Brock Lesnar

During the 2023 Royal Rumble, WWE fans were treated to an exciting tease when GUNTHER and Brock Lesnar squared off for about 30 seconds. This brief encounter ignited a strong desire among fans to see a one-on-one match between “The Ring General” and “The Beast.” Speculation has mounted about a potential GUNTHER vs. Brock Lesnar match at WrestleMania 40. The Undertaker recently shared his thoughts on this anticipated matchup during an episode of Six Feet Under with Mark Calaway.

“It would elevate GUNTHER to another level to work a program with Brock,” Undertaker explained. “The heights that Brock could bring him to would make GUNTHER untouchable. He has his own style and pace, but facing a beast like Brock would push him in ways that no one else on the roster can.”

The former WWE Champion believes that GUNTHER would not gain as much from a match against someone like CM Punk. Instead, Undertaker feels GUNTHER needs a serious, competitive challenge.

“Brock’s a different animal in terms of his approach to wrestling,” he noted. “Everything he does is deliberate. Brock doesn’t do anything frivolous; everything he does carries weight. It’s intimidating and violent, and it’s clear that you shouldn’t be on the receiving end of anything Brock delivers.”

Undertaker praised GUNTHER as well, stating, “He is incredibly in tune with his character and exudes confidence. A match between GUNTHER and Lesnar would be fascinating to watch, and I believe GUNTHER would handle it exceptionally well. Personally, I would love to see that matchup.”
